We know you have been waiting awhile for this announcement, and we are very excited to finally bring this one to everyone who has supported us through the years. Aware Gaming has a long and successful history with Call of Duty, starting with Black Ops 2and almost every title since. We have reached the highest levels in both the North American and European Call of Duty scenes, culminating with a strong performance at the 2015 Call of Duty World Championships. Through the years we have had some great support from both players and fans in the Call of Duty Esports scene, and so after a short break this past year we are extremely excited to announce our new roster for Call of Duty Infinite Warfare!

Our new Call of Duty roster is comprised of some amazing young talent from across Europe. The team may be young, but it still includes some players who have proven themselves at the highest levels of Call of Duty, with a combined three Call of Duty World Championships appearances. The new team will be led by their most experienced player, Aleksi "Gefkid" Viitala from Finland. Gefkid is a well-known SnD player in Europe, and has since proven himself on the big stage by qualifying for the World Championships on both Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3, and also winning the Dreamhack Nordic Championships. He will be joined by his teammate Bjarne "Denza" Sleebus who qualified to the world championships last season with Gefkid only a week after turning 18. They will also be joined by Koen "Benji" Haakman and Emil "Yohanson" Johnsson who have been around the competitive scene for awhile now, but only just recently turning 18 to be eligible for the CWL.

This fairly new team has already jumped out to a hot start finishing second in the first MLG 2k tournament this past weekend. They beat some well-known players before finally falling in the finals to Supremecy. The competition is only  going to get tougher in order to qualify for the newly announced CWL LAN Pro League, but the team is used to the underdog role and primed to shock the Call of Duty scene. We have always embraced the underdog role with our teams, and have provided some surprising breakout performances on more than one occassion. We are extremely excited to see where this team can go in 2017, and look forward to causing more than a few more surprises again!
